From 20 to 22 August 2027, the Arlberg Ultra will make its debut – the new trail running event in the Arlberg region. Spectacular alpine trails stretch between Lech Zürs and St. Anton am Arlberg across five distances: from the Rookie Trail for beginners to the Arlberg 100, the flagship race covering 100 kilometres and around 6,100 metres of elevation gain through the high-alpine landscape of the Arlberg.

The new trail running event in the Arlberg region

Arlberg Ultra is the new trail running event in the Arlberg region, organised jointly by Lech Zürs and St. Anton am Arlberg. The finish location alternates between the two destinations every two years – the first edition will take place from 20 to 22 August 2027.

 

 

Where stunning mountain scenery, unspoilt nature and a real challenge come together, a running experience of a very special kind unfolds: the route follows almost exclusively natural trails, right in the heart of the Arlberg’s alpine landscape. The start and finish are situated right in the mountains, nestled amidst idyllic natural surroundings.

 

The Arlberg Ultra offers routes to suit a range of fitness levels. If you’re looking for spectacular views, varied trails and an authentic mountain experience, you’ll find your next adventure here.

Arlberg 100: 109K The Ultimate Distance (~6,100 hm)

Arlberg Ultra: 65K Endurance Meets Alpine Adventure (~3,100 hm)

Arlberg Marathon: 40K The Classic Trail Challenge (~1,900 hm)

Lech Trail: 20K Compact, Intense and Scenic (~1,400 hm)
 

Arlberg Rookie Trail: 10K The Perfect Start into Trail Running (~600 hm)
