Information for participants

Race number collection

Venue: Lechwelten, Lech. Thursday 19 August, 4.00–6.00 pm, Friday 20 August, 12.00–7.00 pm, Saturday 21 August, 7.00–9.00 am.

 

Race packs will be issued in person upon submission of the signed liability waiver and presentation of official photo ID. The online course briefing will be sent by email approximately one week before the race and must be viewed in full and confirmed before the race number is issued.

 

 

Race number & liability waiver

The race number can be viewed online in the start list. The personal liability waiver can be downloaded and printed via the registration confirmation under ‘Change details’. The printed and signed liability waiver must be handed in when collecting your race number.

Shuttle

For the Arlberg Ultra 60K race, which starts in St. Anton, shuttles will be provided for participants from Lech. Detailed information on departure times, departure points and the necessary booking procedures will be sent to registered participants via a newsletter in the spring. There are no shuttles for accompanying persons.

 

 

Arlberg100 Drop Bag

For the Arlberg100, participants may hand in a small drop bag. This will be transported to the Flexenpass refreshment station. Drop-off takes place directly at the start or at Lechwelten. Collection is possible at Lechwelten until Sunday at 10.00 am.

Parking

In Lech, participants can use the Anger car park and the Schlosskopf day car park. Free parking is available at the Trittkopfbahn in Zürs, although you will need to take the local bus from Zürs to Lech to reach the starting point.

 

 

Medical care

Medical support will be provided along the route. The medical helpline number is printed on the back of your race number. If this number cannot be reached, please dial the European emergency number 112.

 

 

Physiotherapy

The team at Physio Lech – Astrid Rhomberg will be offering physiotherapy treatments during the event to aid preparation and recovery, as well as for muscular complaints and taping. If required, treatments are available throughout the entire week of the event.

Getting there & Accommodation

Getting there

Lech am Arlberg can be reached by public transport and by car. The nearest railway stations are Langen am Arlberg and St. Anton am Arlberg. There are bus services to Lech from both stations.

Entry requirements & important race information

  • The minimum age is generally 18.
  • Lech Trail: Participants aged 16 and over may take part with a signed parental consent form .
  • Rookie Trail: Participants aged 14 and over may take part with a declaration of consent and when accompanied by a parent or guardian .
  • The consent form can be requested via info@planb-sportmarketing.com .
  • Line-up begins 45 minutes before the official start time; final briefing 15 minutes before the start.
  • External assistance is generally only permitted at official refreshment points or in emergencies.
  • If you withdraw from the race early, you must deregister immediately .
  • The route may be changed at short notice for safety, regulatory or weather-related reasons.
